Cristiano Ronaldo has reacted to Antonio Rudiger naming him among his top five Real Madrid legends.

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner made a name for himself in the world of football during his first spell with Manchester United.

The Portuguese talisman is widely regarded as one of the greatest footballers of all time alongside Lionel Messi.

He went on to hit even greater heights after he joined Real Madrid, helping the La Liga giants win four Champions League crowns during his spell with them.

Recently, Rudiger was asked to pick his top five Real Madrid icons and listed Ronaldo at the top.

In a video shared by Sky Sports on Instagram, the former Chelsea defender also included Raul Gomez, Ronaldo Nazario, Zinedine Zidane, and Sergio Ramos in his list.

Ronaldo's reactiom to Rudiger's list

Ronaldo has since expressed his appreciation for Rudiger's high praise for him.

The Al Nassr star reacted on social media with clapping emojis on a post that highlighted Rudiger's player rankings.

The forward spent nine years at Real Madrid before he joined Juventus.

Sportskeeda reports that Ronaldo made a total of 438 appearances for the Spanish giants, scoring 450 goals and bagging a further 131 assists.

The goal tally has him sitting top as Real's all-time top scorer. He also holds the record for the most hat-tricks (48) at the club.

On his part, Rudiger moved to Santiago Bernabeu in 2022 and has already made 95 appearances.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported on Georgina Rodriguez reacting to Ronaldo's wonder goal during Al Nassr's clash against Al-Khaleej on Instagram.

Ronaldo was the man of the moment when his side played Al-Khaleej in the semi-final of the King Cup Champions on Wednesday night, May 1.

The Portuguese football legend scored a brace during the encounter, finding the back of the net in each of the two halves.
