The Blues ended their three-game winless streak with a commanding win over their London rivals, who are currently fighting to keep their Champions League hopes alive.

According to Eurosport, goals from Trevoh Chalobah and Nicolas Jackson scored on either side of halftime, secured a 2-0 victory for Pochettino's side at Stamford Bridge, propelling them up the Premier League standings.

In a departure from their recent sub-par performances, Chelsea displayed remarkable determination and intensity throughout the game against Spurs.

Pochettino singles out 3 players for praise

After the match, Pochettino singled out three players for their exceptional contributions. He particularly lauded forward Noni Madueke, whose performance against Tottenham was arguably his finest yet.

"Noni Madueke, unbelievable. He did a fantastic job with and without the ball. That is what we needed for the future to build this spirit and be very competitive," he said, as cited by Fabrizio Romano.

The 53-year-old also commended academy graduates Trevoh Chalobah and club captain Conor Gallagher, labelling them as 'fantastic'.

"Trevoh Chalobah and Conor Gallagher were fantastic as players that grew in this club".

Interestingly, his list omitted Cole Palmer, Chelsea's standout player this season, and Nicolas Jackson, who notched his 14th goal across all competitions in the said game.

Postecoglou admits Spurs have lost 'belief'

While Poch praised his side, Ange Postecoglou acknowledged that his Tottenham team has "lost belief" following a disappointing 2-0 loss to Chelsea, severely denting their Champions League qualification aspirations.

Postecoglou's side suffered their third consecutive defeat as goals from Trevoh Chalobah and Nicolas Jackson secured victory for Chelsea against their London rivals.

With their Champions League dreams fading, Postecoglou admitted that his players are lacking the confidence that characterised their earlier performances this season, as reported by Sports Brief.
