According to reports, Ratcliffe had built two huge barns, a tennis court, and a pergola at the property without consent.

It is understood that the 71-year-old had applied for a retrospective permission from the planning authority two years ago.

However, the move was strongly opposed, with objections slamming the project as 'industrialist' emerging.

Ratcliffe gets permission to execute multimillion project

The Telegraph reports that the sports investor can now breathe a sigh of relief after getting permission to continue with the project.

The development means that Ratcliffe won't be forced to abandon his beekeeping facility as was initially feared.

"The applicant respectfully suggests that the outbuildings will not result in any adverse harm to the ability of future generations to meet their own needs and that the development should therefore be accepted as sustainable development," Ratcliffe's agent said.

Ratcliffe is the second-richest man in Britain, with the INEOS owner boasting a net worth of £29 billion.

Some of his properties include a luxury home in Monaco and a mega house in Lake Geneva in Switzerland.

Players Ratcliffe must retain at Old Trafford

Earlier, Sports Brief analysed seven Manchester United players Ratcliffe should consider keeping at Old Trafford beyond this season.

The INEOS chairman reportedly plans a major overhauling of the squad, with some senior players and big earners set to depart this summer.

Ratcliffe, who is also in charge of football affairs at the Theatre of Dreams, is expected to oversee his first transfer window this summer after buying a 27.7% stake in the club.
