Iqraam Rayners has done what many footballers only dream of doing.

The Stellenbosch FC attacker has joined an elite list of players who scored five goals in a single game, thanks to his performance against Polokwane City.

The Stellies striker scored all five of his team’s goals against Rise and Shine as they kept their 24-game unbeaten streak going.

The Al-Nassr star has scored over 850 goals in his career, and doesn’t look like stopping anytime soon.

He’s also set many scoring records, and in, he 2015 scored five goals in one game for the first time.

GOAL noted that the Portuguese star netted five times against Granada for Real Madrid. Madrid won the game 9-1.

The same year he repeated the feat against Espanyol, scoring five in a 6-0 win.

Lionel Messi

What Ronaldo can do, so can Messi.

The Argentinian became the first person to score five goals in a Champions League game in 2012 when Barcelona beat Bayer Leverkusen 7-1.

The Ballon d'Or winner also replicated the feat for Argentina when he scored five against Estonia in a game before the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

The French attacker achieved the feat in January last year but against lesser opposition.

Fox Sports reported that the Paris Saint-Germain star scored five as PSG beat Pays de Cassel 7-0.

He became the first person in the club’s history to score five goals in a game. He also netted his hat-trick in just 11 minutes during the game.

Erling Haaland

The Norwegian equalled Messi’s record when he scored five goals in a Champions League game.

The Manchester City striker helped his side beat RB Leipzig 7-0, booking their place in the tournament’s quarterfinals as a result.

All of his goals were scored within an hour, ESPN reported, before he was substituted. Some speculated that Pep Guardiola took him off so he couldn’t surpass Messi’s momentous milestone.
