NFF’s target and contract duration for next Nigeria coach
According to a report from Owngoal Nigeria, the football federation plans to offer a two-year contract to the next coach of the Super Eagles, with the immediate goals of securing qualifications for both the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) and the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The report also notes that the NFF intends to offer the next manager a salary of $50,000, which is lower than the $80,000 offered to coach Peseiro during the unsuccessful contract negotiations.
