Egypt legend, Ahmed Mido, has urged English Premier League side, Tottenham Hotspur, to sign Eintracht Frankfurt forward Omar Marmoush.
The former Spurs forward gave the North London outfit the heads up while Mohamed Salah was coming up at Basel, but the club refused to sign the now Liverpool star.
Mido, who played for Tottenham between 2005 to 2007, is hoping the club does not make the same mistake with the new Egyptian star, who has taken the Bundesliga by storm.
"Years ago, I advised Spurs to sign Salah when he was still at Basel, but they never listened to me. Now I’m telling you please go for Marmoush he will be a great signing and will fit in perfectly in Angie’s system as a left or right winger. Hard worker top professional and can score goals. Please Levy sign Marmoush from Frankfurt," wrote Mido on X, formerly Twitter.

Marmoush has scored 11 goals and provided six assists in 25 Bundesliga games this season.
The 25-year-old is on the radar of Liverpool, who are preparing to make a move for the forward in the summer transfer window.
“Omar Marmoush – The Egyptian winger has been linked with Liverpool. I’m aware they have scouted Eintracht in general to monitor some players, but there is nothing imminent or close at this stage with Marmoush or any other player," said transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, as reported by KingFut.
“Eintracht have not communicated a price yet for Marmoush, so we are at really early stages of this story.”
Mido, considered one of the greatest Egyptian players of all time scored 14 goals in 48 matches for Spurs.
