Super Eagles forward, Ademola Lookman, matched a notable Serie A record with two assists for Atalanta in their 2-1 victory over Monza at the Brianteo Stadium on Sunday, April 21.
The Nigerian returned to Gian Piero Gasperini's starting XI after four games on the sidelines and was paired with El Bilal Toure in attack.
Despite a challenging start, La Dea took the lead just before half-time, with the 26-year-old delivering a well-placed cross from a corner for Charles De Ketelaere to convert.
Gasperini's men dominated the early exchanges in the second half, with Lookman significantly contributing in the 73rd minute.

Left isolated in the box with one player to beat, he found Toure, who made no mistake from about 10 yards, giving Atalanta a two-goal cushion.
Though it seemed like a sure win, Daniel Maldini scored in the 89th minute, leading to a nervy end. Nevertheless, Atalanta held on, securing a 2-1 victory as reported by Flashscore.
Lookman's brace made him the fifth player to score over 20 goals and deliver more than 10 assists since the start of last season in Serie A, joining Olivier Giroud, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Paulo Dybala, and Rafael Leão.
Since joining Serie A side Atalanta, the 26-year-old has been a revelation. According to data from Fotmob, the Nigerian forward has played over 1,500 minutes, becoming a mainstay in the Serie A club's XI.

FootballLookman discusses good form for Atalanta
Lookman previously disclosed the reason behind his impressive form, just before the team played Liverpool in the Europa League semi-final second leg.
"Over the years, Atalanta has been known for playing attacking football, so for me to join this positive style of play is great as an attacker. Gasperini emphasises playing forward and creating many goal-scoring opportunities. He has simplified my approach to football," he said, as quoted by The Athletic.
His side defeated the Premier League club 3-1 on aggregate to set up a Europa League semi-final clash with Ligue 1 side, Marseille, in May.

Sports Brief earlier reported that Lookman chose which league he preferred between the EPL and Serie A.
The Nigerian star has played in three of the top five European leagues and also stated his clear preference.
