Harry Maguire is reportedly the only available Manchester United centre-back available for their FA Cup clash against Coventry.

The match comes at a time when the Red Devils are keen to end the season on a high after a mixed run of form and results across competitions.

United were bundled out of the Champions League in the group stages and are in danger of missing out on a spot in the top four.

As such, the FA Cup represent their only chance to end the campaign with silverware.

Inside Man United's injury crisis

However, manager Erik ten Hag is facing a big headache ahead of the Coventry clash amid his team's injury crisis.

According to football journalist Fabrizio Romano, Maguire is the only centre-back available for selection for the Wembley meeting.

Raphael Varane, Lisandro Martinez, Johnny Evans, and Willy Kambwala are all sidelined with injuries.

"Harry Maguire is the only centre back fit and available for Man United vs Coventry. Varane, Lisandro Martínez, Evans Victor Lindelof and Willy Kambwala are all out injured," Romano tweeted.
"Understand Erik ten Hag had to test Casemiro as CB with Maguire as emergency solution," he added.

The winner of Coventry vs Manchester United will face Man City in the FA Cup final.

City, who are the defending champions, booked a place in the final on Saturday after beating Chelsea 1-0 in the other semi-final fixture.

Maguire wins prestigious award

Earlier, Sports Brief reported on Maguire winning a prestigious award back in February.

At the time, the Englishman had formed a significant part of Erik ten Hag's team in recent weeks, making him a mainstay figure in the team.

His heavy involvement in the squad came barely months after he came close to departing Old Trafford for rivals, West Ham United, per Euro Sport.
