Springboks skipper Siya Kolisi has shared an inspiring message with Mamelodi Sundowns ahead of their CAF Champions League semi-final.

Rhulani Mokwena's side have arrived in Tunis for the first leg against Esperance of Tunisia slated for Saturday evening.

Ahead of the encounter, Masandawana received a support message from Kolisi who shared a clip from his base in France.

Kolisi said in the message via iDiski Times:

“I want to wish you all the best for the semi-final. All of us as South Africans, no matter who you support locally, we are behind you.
"You are not only representing Sundowns fans but all of South Africa. We wish you nothing but the best. Get stuck in, this is it!”

The Rugby superstar, is an ambassador of Roc Nation Sports International, a global agency that consults for Mamelodi Sundowns.

Meanwhile, ahead of the cracker, defender Thapelo Morena emphasised on the need to regenerate after the long flight time to Tunisia.

Morena said:

“I think regeneration is very important for us, especially after the long flight and to bring back the fresh legs.
"Obviously, when we arrived on Wednesday, we couldn’t do a lot but fortunately, we were able to do a lot of work in video analysis. The most important thing for us will be to try and close the sides and force them inside."

Teko Modise sends message to Sundowns

Sports Brief earlier reported that with Sundowns chasing a historic quadruple, former midfielder, Teko Modise, has urged the club to prioritise the continental title.

The Brazilians won the AFL, are on course to win the DStv Premiership, and are in the semi-finals of the Nedbank Cup and the Champions League.

As reported by Sowetan LIVE, Modise said Masandawana’s entire focus should be on the CAF CL rather than the Nedbank Cup due to their busy schedule.
