Recently, Werder Bremen star Naby Keita recently became the latest player to decline to play for his team.
According to the BBC, the 29-year-old refused to travel with the team for a Bundesliga game at Bayer Leverkusen.
The publication adds that the former Liverpool midfielder has since been suspended by the Bundesliga club until the end of the season.

However, he is not the first player to refuse to play for their clubs in the past.
