Two of England's best players will be up against each other when Bayern Munich and Real Madrid lock horns in the UEFA Champions League semi-final.

Bayern eliminated London club Arsenal 3-2 on aggregate after Joshua Kimmich's header won the second leg at the Allianz Arena 1-0 for the German side.

Madrid laboured hard for their progress after holding Manchester City to a draw at the Etihad and winning the penalty shootout 4-3 to reach the semi-final.

Paris Saint-Germain, who beat Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund, who beat Atletico Madrid, are the other two teams in the last eight.

Kane sends message to Bellingham

Harry Kane and Jude Bellingham will face off in the semi-final, with the striker breaking the silence to issue a warning to his compatriot.

“It will be one to enjoy and I’m sure there will be a lot of English fans watching both of us. We have to focus on ourselves. Of course, I’ll say hello but once we’re on the pitch, it’s business,” he said via Mirror UK.
“With Wembley being our national stadium, it’s extra motivation there for us but there are two games ahead of us before that, which are going to be really tough so we have to focus on that.”

Kane's only chance of silverware this season is the Champions League. Otherwise, his first season in Germany may, unfortunately, end trophyless after leaving Tottenham last summer.

Bellingham, meanwhile, has picked up his first trophy for Los Blancos, winning the Spanish Super Cup after a 4-1 victory over rivals Barcelona in Saudi Arabia, thanks to Vinicius Jr's hat-trick.

Per Transfermarkt, the two sides have met 26 times in European competitions; the Germans won 12 to Madrid's 11, while three ended in draws, with both sides scoring 42 goals each.

Bellingham played in front of his brother

Sports Brief reported on Bellingham playing in front of his brother, Jobe, for the first time since he sealed a summer move to Real Madrid from Borussia Dortmund.

The 20-year-old was influential in the Spanish team's progress to the semi-final at the expense of the English champions while the Sunderland midfielder watched on.
