Super Eagles winger, Ademola Lookman, has played in three out of the top five European major leagues and has given his opinion on the difference between the English Premier League and the Italian Serie A.
The 26-year-old who started his career in England, currently plays for Atalanta after joining the Italian side from German Bundesliga giants RB Leipzig in 2022.
According to Complete Sports, Lookman, who had featured for Leicester City, Everton, and Fulham, disclosed that the Premier League is better suited for his playing style than the Italian Serie A.
“The Premier League is definitely suited to my style because it’s fast, technical, physical — and it’s the country I grew up in.

Lookman is expected to be in action for Atalanta in Thursday’s second-leg quarter-final clash against English giants Liverpool.

Meanwhile, Atalanta are highly tipped to progress to the semi-final of the Europa League ahead of their return leg against Liverpool after winning the first tie 3-0 at Anfield.
According to Evening Standard, there has never been an instance of a team overturning a three-goal deficit away from home in the Europa League and the Reds must have to make history to keep their hopes alive.
