Former Chelsea forward, Adrian Mutu, has expressed scepticism over the valuation of Philip Otele.
The Nigerian winger is reportedly attracting huge interest from several European clubs, including Brighton & Hove Albion in the English Premier League.
Mutu contends that the asking price set by CFR Cluj is excessive.
Head of the Romanian Liga 1 club, Ioan Varga, boldly stated that the 25-year-old is valued at seven million euros, an increase of three million euros from the January transfer window.

As reported by All Nigeria Soccer, 26-time Romanian Liga 1 champion FCSB had reportedly been quoted a price of six million euros for Otele's services.
The player has contributed 19 goals (13 goals, 6 assists) this season and has even earned a spot in the Liga Profesionistă de Fotbal's Best XI.
"I don't think FCSB wants Otele; contributed 19 goals (13 goals, 6 assists) this season. In addition, he did not score a goal in the play-offs, and you want millions on him. Let him give it now for 300,000; maybe he won't take those either. There's no way you can sell a player who doesn't make a difference in the play-offs," he stated, as reported by Digisport.
Otele remains under contract with CFR Cluj until June 2025, with a potential extension for an additional season. Napoli, bracing for Victor Osimhen's exit, have reportedly identified him as one of their transfer targets in the summer. However, the Italian giants must battle Brentford and Club Brugge for his signature.
