The 35-year-old broke the deadlock for the Old Lady in the 64th minute before Alvaro Morata sealed the victory in the extra minutes.

And the Portugal international is hoping their triumph this week will inspire them to more silverware this campaign.
But their chance of holding on to the Serie A title at the end of this season is looking bleak as they currently trail log leaders AC Milan by 10 points but have one match in hand, Goal reports.
Andrea Pirlo's men have won the title for the last nine season, however, their chances are slim as they sit fifth on the table at the moment. After their Super Cup glory, Ronaldo told Rai Sport that:
“We are very happy with the win, it was difficult, especially as the pitch was terrible, but we got it done.
“We showed a different attitude to the bad performance against Inter. That is the past, this is a very important trophy and we hope this can give the team more confidence going into the future.”
“Milan and Inter are very strong, but I believe we have what it takes to win. It’s going to be very difficult, but I believe the Scudetto is still possible.”
