The club are enduring another poor season, but the club’s Sporting Director, Kaizer Motaung Jr, has maybe given them a reason to dream of better days to come.
As reported by The South African, Motaung Jr has confirmed that the club will have a new coach next season.
He also confirmed that the team will have a new technical structure.

“There is definitely going to be a new coach next season.
“It is something we communicated from the onset. Cavin has stepped in on an interim basis, and we are committed to having a different technical structure next season,” Motaung Jr confirmed.
Motaung won’t confirm names on shortlist
The Sporting Director was asked about the names shortlisted for Chiefs’ top job, but would not disclose anything.
He added that when the time was right, announcements would be made. Chiefs' supporters will be hoping that the announcement is a good one, as they look to return to the glory days of the past.
Since their last trophy in 2014/15, Chiefs have gone through eight different coaches.
None have been able to lead them back to their glory days, but fans will be hoping for better next season. Stuart Baxter was the last coach to bring the Glamour Boys success, leading them to the 2014/15 ABSA Premiership title.
With a host of notable names being linked with the club already, Chiefs could be spoilt for choice when it comes to appointing a new manager who could lead them to silverware once more.
