  • Mohamed Salah has reportedly received no offers from Saudi Pro League clubs
  • This means the Egyptian forward could remain at Liverpool beyond this season
  • Salah has scored 209 goals in 340 appearances since joining Liverpool in 2017

Mohamed Salah has reportedly received no offers yet from Saudi Pro League clubs despite a perceived huge interest in the Liverpool forward from the Arab country.

The 31-year-old Egyptian has been a top target for teams like Al-Hilal and Al-Ittihad, with the former presenting a world record deal for the forward last summer which was eventually turned down by the Reds.

According to Give Me Sport, transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, claimed there are no talks ongoing between Salah with Saudi clubs at present despite a reported huge interest in the Liverpool forward.

The Egyptian's contract at Anfield expires in just over a year, and there has been no progress in signing a new contract as talks over a potential new deal has stalked.

Liverpool are focusing on selecting a new manager after Jurgen Klopp's decision to quit at the end of the season before making decisions about the futures of important players such as Salah.

Salah concerned about Liverpool legacy

Meanwhile, Salah has admitted that Liverpool must secure their second Premier League title to cement their legacy as a great team under departing manager, Klopp, Daily Mirror reports.

They have won the Premier League just once in seven years but the Reds are considered as one of the favourites for this season’s title with just seven games to the end of the campaign.

Liverpool sits second, level on points with leaders, Arsenal, and one ahead of Manchester City in the race for the title, which is anticipated to go down to the wire.

Ince claims Salah is not world class

Sports Brief has also reported that former Liverpool midfielder, Paul Ince, believes talismanic Egyptian attacker, Salah, is not technically world-class as a player.

Ince, who also played for Manchester United, has stated the Liverpool forward is a world-class goal scorer but does not consider him one of the finest technically.

Salah has been Liverpool's standout player this season as the Reds seek their 20th Premier League title in the final season under Klopp at the Merseyside outfit.
