Algeria however launched a counter attacking move against their opponent with Adam Ounas perfectly converting Youcef Attal's link-play from the right flank and make it three goals.

The Fennecs came into this competition as one of the favourites owing to the array of stars they parade, plus the fact that they won all three group games earlier in the competition.

They maintained their winning streak to four matches and also remain unbeaten with the championship gradually drawing to a close.
