- The Super Falcons go into the massive showdown in Pretoria with a 1-0 first-leg advantage
- Thembi Kgatlana hopes Banyana Banyana can exploit the new CAF rule as they trail Nigeria
Banyana Banyana striker, Thembi Kgatlana, fancies her side's chances of qualifying for the women's football event at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
South Africa and Nigeria battle for a ticket to the summer games, with the Super Falcons holding a slim advantage following their 1-0 first-leg win.
The nine-time African champions grabbed the crucial victory at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja on Friday, April 5, when captain Rasheedat Ajibade scored from the spot.
Noko Matlou had brought down Chinwendu Ihezuo inside the box, and the referee wasted no time in pointing to the spot as Nigeria took advantage.

The reverse leg is billed for the Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria on Tuesday, April 9, and Kgatlana has highlighted how Banyana Banyana could take advantage.
For the last phase of the qualifiers, a decision by CAF says the away goals rule would not be applied.
If at the end of 90 minutes in Pretoria both teams are tied on the same aggregate goals, the tie will go into extra-time and possibly penalties.
Speaking to SABC News, Thembi Kgatlana said:
"The good thing is it's not a tournament. We've played one game now, we know after the game in Pretoria whoever wins go through. There's no fixing but I think after today they are 1-0 with the advantage.
"There is no away goal rule or whatever, I also think that gives us so much confidence because we are not chasing the game.
