  • Mohammed Kudus is having an outstanding season in the Premier League
  • The Ghana star has scored 16 goals for West Ham this campaign in 40 games
  • West Ham defender, Aaron Creswell, thinks the forward has more in store

Mohammed Kudus is having a magical first season in the Premier League with West Ham.

The Ghanaian star took a while to settle in England but has become a key piece in David Moyes' side.

Veteran West Ham defender, Aaron Creswell, has lauded the forward and backed him to go to greater heights in his career.

Kudus has played 40 games this season and registered 16 goals and five assists for West Ham. Only Jarrod Bowen has scored more goals at the club this season, per Transfermarkt.

Cresswell believes Kudus can get even better in his career.

“I think he is a top, top talent and I think we haven’t seen the best of him yet. That goal he scored against Freiburg, I think he’s got plenty more of that,” Creswell said via BBC.

The defender highlighted Kudus' physical ability and speed.

"I won't go near him in training because I know if I'm going to try to knock him off the ball I had better make sure he's not looking and doesn't see me coming. You just can't get near him. He's so strong, so quick, so sharp."

The Black Stars forward is having a campaign to remember with the London club, despite being 23. Big clubs will want to secure his services if he continues with impressive performances.

Kanoute tips Kudus to win African award

Sports Brief earlier reported on Mali legend, Frederic Kanoute, backing Kudus to win this year's African Footballer of the Year.

The former Sevilla striker feels Kudus has the talent and versatility to become the best player on the African continent.

Gyan on Kudus' role for Ghana

Sports Brief also reported on former Ghana captain, Asamoah Gyan, urging new Black Stars coach, Otto Addo, to build his team around Kudus.

The Ghana record goalscorer said that his country's football has had different eras, and this era belongs to Kudus.
