Premier Soccer League club Kaizer Chiefs fell like a park of cards at the Buffalo Park Stadium in East London losing to Chippa United.

Cavin Johnson rang changes to his starting line up, making seven changes to his team.

Njabulo Ngcobo replaced S’fiso Hlanti in the defense and Zitha Kwinika started ahead of Dillan Solomons.

Yusuf Maart returned to the starting line up in the midfield replacing Sibongiseni Mthethwa while Siyethemba Sithebe was rested for Edson Castillo.

Mduduzi Mdantsane started ahead of Mduduzi Shabalala as well while in the attack, Christian Saile and Ranga Chivaviro started ahead of Ashley du Preez and Wandile Duba, The South African reports.

Despite the changes, there was little or no difference in how the Glamour Boys fared as they were outclassed in the encounter as it ended 2-0 in favour of the Chilli Boys.

It was a sold out game which was dedicated to Kaizer Chiefs defender Luke Fleurs passed away in a shooting during the week.

The result leaves Amakhosi in eighth position on the standings with 30 points after 23 matches.

They have managed just 19 goals in the DStv Premiership this season, while Chippa United moved up to 10th place with 29 points after 23 fixtures.

Up next for Chiefs is a dicey game against struggling Richards Bay on Saturday, April 20.

Mass exodus looms at Kaizer Chiefs

Sports Brief earlier reported that Kaizer Chiefs are set to experience a major shake-up as seven players, including Itumeleng Khune, are expected to leave as soon as their respective contracts with the club lapse this summer.

Four Premier Soccer League players are already on the radar Amakhosi as begin to make desperate moves to bolster their squad ahead of next season.

Chiefs made ten signings this season, but the management, technical crew and supporters are not convinced.
