In the last few years, Victor Osimhen has become one of the best strikers in the world.
His heroic performances for Napoli last season helped the Italian side lift the Serie A title for the first time in 33 years.
Nigeria captain William Troost-Ekong has listed several attributes that make his international teammate special.
Osimhen had an outstanding 2022/23 season. He became the first African to win the Serie AGolden Boot, won the Italian league, and won the African Footballer of the Year award, per Reuters.

Those accolades have attracted interest from plenty of top European clubs like Chelsea, PSG, and Arsenal.
Troost-Ekong says Osimhen's work ethic separates him from the rest.
"I think what's made him special is his work ethic, I've never seen something like it," Troost-Ekong said. "He's relentless and he plays every game like it's the last game he's ever going to play," per 90min.
The 2023 AFCON player of the tournament listed more qualities that make him outstanding.
"His physical attributes - speed, his power, how he jumps - make him very dangerous because you can never feel safe. I think he always tries to run after every ball, and then when he gets in the box he's a good finisher. I don't think he's a striker who is a very natural finisher, but if it's something that's a 50/50 or he has to stick his head out or his foot out then he definitely will."

Troost-Ekong on Osimhen's future
Sports Brief earlier reported on Troost-Ekong dropping a major hint on Osimhen's future at Napoli.
The PAOK defender disclosed that he knows where his teammate will play but refused to give details.
Osimhen will likely play for another club in Europe, considering Napoli's failure to build on their league win last season.
Osimhen named highest-paid player in Serie A
Sports Brief also reported on Osimhen being named Serie A's highest-paid player, reportedly earning £1.29 million monthly.
The defending Serie A champions signed the forward for around €75mil from Lille, and he led the club to the Scudetto last season.
