Former Black Stars captain, Asamoah Gyan, has urged the former Borussia Dortmund coach to construct his team around West Ham United star, Mohammed Kudus.

Addo was appointed to revive Ghanaian football, and he has a talented pool of players to build a team that can compete with Africa's best.
The West African nation are still looking for their first AFCON title since 1982. Addo will be hoping to progress past the group stage in the 2025 edition.
Gyan's advice to Addo
Giving his insight into the situation, Gyan believes Kudus is Ghana's best player, and he should be the Black Stars' focal point.
"When I was coming up, we had Michael Essien, Stephen Appiah, Sulley Muntari, and at a point it got to me. Players have come and gone. We had the Abedi Pele era, Stephen Appiah era, Michael Essien era, and the Asamoah Gyan era, and now it looks like it’s Kudus’ era," he said via Ghana Soccernet.
"I mean, he is the only Ghanaian player performing in Europe. And not just in any league, but in the Premier League."
