Over the weekend, the youngster once again proved his effectiveness as he scored twice to help his side secure a 2-2 draw against second-bottom side Burnley.
The Chelsea top scorer converted a penalty in the first half, putting them on the winning side. However, that was cancelled with an equaliser from defender Dara O'Shea.
Pochettino hails Palmer
Pochettino has now singled out Palmer for praise, with the Argentine believing that other players in the club have a lot to learn from the midfielder following his stellar performance and dedication.
"He's a good example for the rest. From day one he has taken responsibility. When the team struggle to find solutions, they give the ball to him," said Pochettino via talkPORT.
Appreciating his presence at Stamford Bridge, Pochettino has acknowledged how hard Palmer has worked to earn his spot for game time he did not get at Manchester City.
"It's a dream (to have him). He brings very positive things for the team. And for him to have the possibility to play games he didn't play in the last year for Manchester City. Now he has the continuity and consistency, he's showing the capacity that we thought he could add to the team," he said.
