Wanyama has two years left in his contract and the Turkish club will have to be able to put up an offer desirable enough to interest Spurs chairman Daniel Levy, to striking a deal.

Fortunately for the Turkish side Comolli is no stranger to Levy, having previously worked at the North London club.

At his best, Wanyama as a holding midfielder is exceptional in ball distribution, creating space and disrupting the opposition's attacks.

Wanyama current market value is at €20 million (KSh 2.3 billion) after Spurs acquired him from Southampton for £11 million (KSh 1.4 billion).

TUKO.co.ke previously reported that the 28-year-old has insisted he wants to remain with the London club amid departure reports.

Wanyama has been linked with a move away from Spurs following the arrival of France international Tanguay Ndombele from Lyon.

Aston Villa, Southampton and Leicester City are some of the clubs said to be interested in Wanyama but the midfielder insists he intends to remain with the London outfit.
