FootballDarwin Nunez: Liverpool Star Rejects Shirt Request From the Crowd, Hands It to Ball Boy
- Darwin Nunez played 83 minutes of Liverpool's 2-1 win over Brighton
- The win helped Jurgen Klopp's men stay clear at the top of the table
- Nunez also showed he is one of the Premier League’s funnier stars
Darwin Nunez proved he is one of the Premier League 'bad boys' on Sunday after Liverpool beat Brighton and Hove Albion to go two points clear at the top of the table.
The Reds took on the Seagulls a few hours before the other title contenders, Manchester City and Arsenal, played out to a boring and goalless draw at the Etihad Stadium.
Roberto De Zerbi's men raced to an early lead within two minutes, and Liverpool had to respond through Luis Diaz and Mohamed Salah. They held on and secured all maximum points.
The Premier League title race is far from over, and the run-in to the final weeks of the season will decide who will be crowned the winners of the English top flight division this year.

Nunez makes ball boy’s day
Nunez played 83 minutes of the encounter before he was substituted and replaced by Harvey Elliott, who saw out the final 13 minutes of the match at Anfield.
As noted by Rising Ballers, the Uruguayan forward made the day of a lucky ball boy handing his match-worn shirt to the young member of the matchday team.
As spotted in another post on social media, the 24-year-old, as he was walking off the pitch after being substituted, saw a placard from a fan in the crowd requesting the shirt before turning away to give it to the boy.
The incident received mixed reactions on social media. Via Mirror UK, some described it as inspiration for the boy, while another claimed Nunez probably didn't understand the English on the placard.

Why Diallo will be available for FA Cup semi-final despite red card vs Liverpool
FootballSports Brief also previously reported on Darwin Nunez breaking a Premier League record during Liverpool's 4-1 win over Chelsea at Anfield in February.
In the same match, he hit the bar four times, one of which was from the penalty spot, making him the first player to do so since the records began in 2004.
