Super Eagles star Samuel Chukwueze has reportedly earned his former club, Villarreal, a massive bonus payment from AC Milan following his stellar performance.
The Nigerian international joined the Serie A side from Villarreal last summer for a reported fee of €19.5 million, including add-ons totalling €8.5 million.
The Diamond Academy product was known for giving defenders problems on the right wing during his time with the Yellow Submarines but has yet to replicate such for the Rossoneri.
The Nigerian international has struggled to make the right wing his own in Milan's starting lineup under Stefano Pioli, who prefers former Chelsea star Christian Pulisic.

Despite having a limited chance in the starting lineup, the Super Eagles star has scored three goals and provided one assist in 25 games across various competitions, including the Italian Serie A, Coppa Italia, the UEFA Champions League, and presently in the Europa League, according to a report by Soccernet.
According to a tweet by Italian journalist, Matteo Moretto, Villarreal will reportedly receive €1.5 million at the end of the season from Milan due to Chukwueze meeting one of the set-out bonus requirements in his deal.
The Super Eagles winger started against Fiorentina over the weekend and was in action for 73 minutes before being replaced by Pulisic.
Villarreal still included additional clauses that could earn them as much as €2.5 million and €3 million if the Nigerian winger wins the Serie A and Champions League titles, respectively, with the Italian giants.
