The Black Stars forward started the game against the Magpies, scoring a goal and also providing an assist.
According to popular Ghanaian journalist Owuraku Ampofo on X, Kudus's goal against Eddie Howe's side set a new record in West Ham's history.

The 23-year-old has become the Ghanaian with the most goals in West Ham's history, beating Ayew's previous record.
The Ghanaian star has scored 13 goals in 35 appearances for the Hammers this season, according to a report by Transfer Markt.
Ayew spent two seasons with the Hammers, from 2016-2018, and scored 12 goals in 56 appearances, a feat that has been bettered by Kudus this season, with a number of games still left in the EPL and Europa league.
West Ham's next game would be against Tottenham in the Premier League at the London Stadium, before going to Molineux to face Wolverhampton Wanderers.
