Super Eagles striker Victor Boniface is attracting interest from several top clubs in Europe, especially from the English Premier League after having a sensational season with Bayer Leverkusen.
The 23-year-old forward, who was signed from Belgian club Union St Gilloise for around €20.5 million last summer, is Die Werkself’s top scorer this season with 16 goals and eight assists in 23 games across all competitions.
According to the Daily Post, Bayer Leverkusen are not keen on selling Boniface but a big offer of around €55 million could tempt them to cash in on the Nigerian striker after only one season.
Newcastle United, West Ham United, and Chelsea are three of several clubs that have been linked with an interest in the Super Eagles striker but none have made a concrete offer yet.

Boniface only returned to fitness training with the Leverkusen first team this week after being sidelined with an adductor injury which has kept him out for three months.

Meanwhile, Boniface was pictured training with the Bayer Leverkusen first team for the first time in three months, much to the delight of the Bundesliga leaders who have missed his services, Complete Sports reports.
The Bundesliga leaders took to X (formerly Twitter) to celebrate the player after his recovery from injury as he is expected to play a key role in the running for the German league title.
Boniface is in line to make his full return for Xabi Alonso’s side against Hoffenheim this weekend.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Boniface has resumed full training with the Bayer Leverkusen first team following a three-month injury layoff.
The 23-year-old forward had been out injured with an adductor injury sustained during Nigeria's preparations for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, forcing him to withdraw from the competition.
