- The music star failed to show up for the 'Warri Again' event despite receiving payment

Former president of the Nigeria Football Federation, Amaju Pinnick, and music star, Davido, have agreed to settle their disputes outside the court.
A High Court sitting in Effurun, Delta State, has granted Brownhill Investment Company, owned by Pinnick, an out-of-court settlement with the Afrobeats singer.
In October, the football administrator blasted the music star over his reported failure to show up for the 19th edition of Warri Again.
Pinnick claimed that the Aye crooner had received $94,600 for his performance at the event in Delta State.

The FIFA chief further alleged that a chartered plane was arranged to convey the singer and his team to Warri, which cost the Delta State government another $18,000.
Davido, on the other hand, then gave a scathing retort of his own when he stated the then-NFF boss was 'throwing stones in a glass house'.
Latest reports have it that on Thursday, March 21, Justice Michael Obi of High Court Three, Effurun, commended both parties for the amicable resolution to settle out of court.
Davido also agreed to perform at this year's event to smooth the waters further. A statement as per ThisDay reads:
"The parties have resolved the miscommunication issues that occasioned this dispute and the first defendant shall immediately post on his social media platforms including X, Instagram, Facebook, Snap Chat, etc."
