Aurelien Tchouameni is clearing up the air about a viral video between him and Jude Bellingham.

The two Real Madrid stars were recently caught in a conversation, with many assuming they were talking about two stars linked with a move to the Spanish club.

In the video, Tchouameni and Bellingham can be seen arguing over who the better player was between two stars, but the players' names were bleeped out.

Many believed that the players in question were Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe, two of the best players in the world currently, who have both been linked with a move to the La Liga giants.

Tchouameni has now opened up about the viral video, saying they weren’t talking about Haaland and Mbappe.

As noted by Football Espana, the French midfielder explained that they were talking about Bayern Munich’s Dayot Upamecano and Eric Dier.

Upamecano is a national teammate of Tchouameni, while Dier is a national teammate of Bellingham’s.

“We have to make things clear because as soon as I arrived at the national team, that was the first question they asked me,” Tchouameni said.

“What you need to know, and this is a first, we were not talking about Kylian and we were not talking about Erling. We were talking about Dayot and Dier because we were watching Bayern vs Lazio,” the Frenchman added.

While the story is less interesting because it’s not as big-name players, the Madrid midfielder stressed that he had to set the record straight regarding the video.
