Mohamed Diomande has been left with the dilemma of choosing between Ghana and Ivory Coast at the international level.
The Rangers midfielder was handed his maiden call-up by new Black Stars coach Otto Addo for the friendlies against Nigeria and Uganda.
He also received an invite for the Ivory Coast U23 team for an international friendly against France in March.
However, the Right to Dream Academy graduate has asked for time to decide on his national team career, according to 3 Sports.

"As a child who was passionate about football, my dream was to become a professional footballer and thus defend the colours of my country wherever I went and to play with the national team," wrote the winger on Instagram.
"Today I am truly grateful to Allah for having achieved part of this dream - that of becoming a professional footballer. There remains the other part, that of joining the national team and also of making my parents proud," he added.
Diomande was born in Ivory Coast but grew up in Ghana, where his football career was nurtured, having started his education at the Right to Dream Academy.
"Furthermore, I am also aware of the interest shown in me by my host country Ghana where I spent more than seven years of my life and my training as a footballer," he continued.
"However, a lot of things have been said, but I am in direct contact with the manager affected by my decision, and he is the one who has the real information regarding my choice.

The 22-year-old is currently on loan at the Scottish club and could ink a permanent deal at the end of the season.
Diomande named in Ghana squad for friendlies
Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Ghana coach Otto Addo has named Ivorian Mohamed Diomande in his squad for the international friendlies against Nigeria and Uganda.
Diomande, who was born in Ivory Coast, was named in the team after an impressive start to life in Scotland with Rangers.
The 22-year-old learned his trade in Ghana before moving to Denmark to continue his career.
