Super Eagles star, Tyronne Ebeuhi, has been ruled out of the season ahead of Nigeria's upcoming friendly games against Ghana and Mali in Morocco.
The Nigerian full-back was gearing up for the games against the Black Stars and the Eagles after being included in the 26-man list for the friendlies.
However, the former Benfica defender will now miss these ties and joins other Nigerian stars who will be unavailable for national team duty.
Newly invited defender, Gabriel Osho, and Nottingham Forest striker, Taiwo Awoniyi, have already withdrawn from the squad after being invited.

Ebeuhi's club, Empoli, confirmed the Nigerian international's season was all but over after partially damaging his anterior cruciate ligament during their game against Bologna over the weekend.
According to a report by Soccernet, the Italian Serie A club confirmed this development in an official statement released on their website, translated as follows:
"Empoli Football Club announces that the instrumental investigations to which the footballer, Tyronne Ebuehi, who came out during Friday's match with Bologna, was subjected, have highlighted the partial injury of the anterior cruciate ligament of the right knee."
With Ebeuhi's injury, the stand-in coach for the Super Eagles, Finidi George, would have to call up a replacement before all the players arrive at the training camp.
Another player who is also a doubt for the friendlies is Victor Osimhen, who was left on the bench for Napoli's 1-1 draw against Inter Milan on Sunday, March 17.

FootballSports Brief earlier reported on a Nigeria Football Federation chief discussing the next Super Eagles coach after Jose Peseiro.
The football chief's statement appeared to imply that the next coach of Nigeria's national team would be another foreigner.
The NFF official also stated that many local coaches lacked the necessary coaching certificates to lead the Super Eagles.
