Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp was an irate figure on Sunday, March 17, as he stormed out of an interview after his side’s 4-3 defeat to Manchester United.
Klopp, who is set to depart Liverpool at the end of the season, saw his side stunned to defeat by Amad Diallo’s 120th minute strike just as the game looked to be heading to a penalty shootout.
Scot Mctominay initially gave United the lead after 10 minutes, but Liverpool pegged them back before the end of the first half through two quick goals by Alexis Mac Allister and Mohamed Salah.
Despite Liverpool’s domination, United got an equaliser in the 87th minute through Antony’s strike, forcing the game to extra time.

More drama unfolded in extra time as Harvey Elliott's effort deflected gave Liverpool a 3-2 lead at Old Trafford, but Marcus Rashford levelled matters once again, with Diallo squeezing a winner at the very death.
Jurgen Klopp irritated by question
Naturally, Klopp was disappointed after his side’s exit and it showed in his demeanour during his post-match interview.
"Then the rest of the season starts so hopefully they come back (from the international break) healthy,” he told Norwegian broadcaster VSport, per Manchester Evening News.
In a video shared on X, Klopp appeared extremely irritated when the journalist questioned his team’s intensity.
"Normally, the intensity is the name of your game, how did it become so difficult in extra-time?" Klopp was asked, to which he responded:
"How can you ask such a dumb question," the Liverpool boss forcefully replied ."When you see us that often or you could never saw us and say: 'how can they have more resources?'

Football"We have played, I don't know how many games, I don't know how many games United exactly played - that's sport. Really disappointed about that question but obviously you thought it was good."
The reporter was about to ask another question, but the Liverpool boss had enough and simply walked out, as reported by The Mirror.
At the back of Klopp’s controversial antics, Arsenal superfan Piers Morgan took to X to label the German a ‘sore loser’.
What next for Liverpool?
Having won the Carabao Cup last month, Liverpool will now shift focus on the Premier League and the Europa League as Klopp seeks a blockbuster final season at the club.
Their next game is a crunch Premier League encounter against Brighton and Hove Albion on Sunday, March 31.
