According to the former Atalanta player, featuring and winning games for the Old Trafford outfit has always been his dream.

"I was last season at Sunderland and my dream was to play for Manchester United," he said after the match, as quoted by the club's official website.
"So, I am here to dream every moment. Every moment is like a dream. In the training, in the pitch, every year is a friend for me. I am very happy to score..."

An excited Diallo was named the Man of the Match following his outstanding performance against Liverpool, despite getting sent off moments after his winner for his 'provocative' celebration.

The Ivorian youngster will be hoping to make a return to the AFCON 2023 champions' national team after missing the tournament due to injury.

Meanwhile, Manchester United will face Coventry in the semi-final at Wembley Stadium next month, per the English FA's official website.

Diallo opens up on red card

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Diallo admitted he forgot his yellow card after seeing red during Man United's FA Cup victory over Liverpool.

In an action-packed tie, the 21-year-old winger scored the winning goal late on, as the Red Devils defeated rivals, the Reds, 4-3 after extra time.

Scott McTominay gave United the lead, but Liverpool turned it around before half-time thanks to goals from Alexis Mac Allister and Mohamed Salah.

Diallo deletes all social media accounts

Sports Brief also reported that Diallo deactivated his social media handles as he joined fellow Muslims in observing the holy month of Ramadan.

The Ivorian forward is a devout Muslim and believes during the sacred month, it is advisable to stay off social media due to the nature of content.
