It is joy overflow for sports journalist Joan Iwuchukwu who has received the keys to a flat in Nigeria's capital, Abuja, from Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa.
In December 2023, Nigerian footballer Musa confirmed that Joan was among four recipients of flats in one of his estates in the Federal Capital Territory.
Barely one month after returning from the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast, the former CSKA Moscow star handed the apartment keys to the writer.
Sharing her excitement with Sports Brief, the delighted reporter stated that friends have started calling her 'landlady'.

Joan disclosed that she had known the footballer for more than thirteen years, saying it was during his days at Kano Pillars.
Upon receiving the keys to her new apartment from the lawyer, she took to social media to share photos of the special moment.
Joan told Sports Brief:
"A dream has become a reality. All this while I was living in a fantasy, asking myself am I truly a house owner?
"Until when the lawyer called me and said I should come and collect my papers. Everybody has been calling me 'landlady o' landlady'.
"I want to say I'm very grateful to God. I am very grateful to my boss Ahmed Musa. I will continue to appreciate this gesture he has done.
"I will always pray for him and may God continually bless him for what he has done for mankind. He doesn't know what he has done for me, but I know. God bless him."

Sports Brief earlier reported that Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa arrived in Mecca as he was captured performing Tarawih as the Nigerian international joined other Muslim faithful from across the world in the holy land.
Musa was spotted alongside his international teammate Shehu Abdullahi, who is also his best friend.
He took to social media to wish his followers a special celebration. He wrote: "Ramadan Mubarak".
