Liverpool, Leverkusen aim to play up to favourites tag in Europa League

Bayern Munich star Thomas Muller had a subtle message to Arsenal after the two teams were drawn against each other in the Champions League quarter-finals.
In a matchup that has many subplots, the Gunners are in action in a Champions League quarter-final for the first time in 14 years.
For the Bavarians, they are facing a very familiar opponent, whom they have developed a knack of always beating emphatically.
Muller knows this all too well, as he was part of the Bayern team that last faced the North Londoners 5-1 in the round of 16 in the 2016/17 season.

Once the draw was confirmed at UEFA's Nyom headquarters, 34-year-old Muller took to X, formerly Twitter with an immediate reaction.
While acknowledging that the Gunners were formidable opponents, the Bayern star singled out one Gunner as a player he was looking forward to facing again.
"It's Arsenal. Kai Havertz, my friend, I am waiting for you,” Muller said in the video before adding, “It's a nice draw. Two very good teams, two very good stadiums, two very good cities. It will be tough but I'm always positive. See you Gunners."
The first leg of the draw will take place at the Emirates Stadium, either on April 9 or 10, with the second leg being played a week later.
For Arsenal, the two ties will sandwich a clash against Aston Villa, who are chasing Champions League football next season.
