Galatasaray are not giving up on their pursuit of Wilfred Ndidi and have indicated interest in signing the Super Eagles midfielder when the summer transfer window reopens.
The 27-year-old midfielder is set to become a free agent in the summer as Leicester City are yet to open negotiations to renew his contract with the club which is set to expire at the end of the season.
According to the Daily Post, Galatasaray, who have previously tabled a bid for Ndidi in the past, plans on using Champions League football to lure the Nigerian to the Turkish giant's next season.
The Leicester City midfielder has enjoyed a successful spell, winning multiple trophies, since moving to England from Belgian Pro League club, KRC Genk in January 2017.

Ndidi has made over 260 appearances for the former Premier League champions, scoring 15 goals and creating 18, and has won the English FA Cup and Community Shield with the Foxes.

Meanwhile, Ndidi has returned to his best form after his season was almost ruined following incessant injuries this season which saw him miss multiple games for Leicester.
According to This Day, a muscular injury ruled the Super Eagles midfielder out for almost three months and also cost him a place in Nigeria’s Africa Cup of Nations party to Ivory Coast.
Ndidi has been a vital player for Leicester City this campaign, playing a significant role in the middle of the park as they seek to return to the Premier League, scoring four goals for the Foxes in the process.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Ndidi is one of the 26 players listed for Nigeria’s upcoming friendly games against Mali and Ghana later this month in Morocco.
The Leicester City midfielder returns to the squad after missing the 2023 AFCON due to a muscular injury that kept him out of competition for three months.
The squad also includes fresh additions, such as Gabriel Osho and Benjamin Tanimu, alongside returning talents who missed out on the AFCON, such as Sadiq Umar, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, Tyronne Ebuehi, Cyriel Dessers, Nathan Tella, and Jamilu Collins.
