The 2023/24 UEFA Champions League has reached the last eight, and the draw for the quarter-final and semi-final will take place at Nyon, Switzerland, at 11 am GMT.
The teams left are record winners Real Madrid, holders Manchester City, Arsenal, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and Paris Saint-Germain.

1. Bayern Munich

The German champions have reached the quarter-final 22 times, more than any other team in the competition’s history. Per Transfermarkt, they have missed out on the last eight only three times in the previous 20 seasons and made seven consecutive appearances between 2011 and 2018.
2. Real Madrid, Barcelona
Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona have reached the QF of the Champions League 19 times each. Both teams have won a combined 19 trophies in the competition. Madrid were eliminated in six consecutive Round of 16s between 2004 and 2010, while Barca reached their first last eight since they were embarrassed 8-2 by Bayern in 2020.
3. Manchester United
The Red Devils have featured in the quarters 14 times, more than any other English team. This year, the three-time winners’ appearance ended in the group stage after finishing bottom behind Bayern Munich, Copenhagen and Galatasaray.
4. Chelsea, Juventus
Chelsea and Juventus have appeared 12 times each. The Blues’ last two times in the UCL ended in the quarters, where Madrid eliminated them on both occasions. Both teams did not feature in Europe this season – Chelsea did not qualify after finishing 12th in the Premier League. At the same time, Juve were excluded for violating UEFA’s financial fair play rules despite qualifying for the Europa Conference League, as reported by Goal.
