  • 16V has commented on the video of Cavin Johnson and Brandon Petersen's clash in the Soweto Derby
  • The Kaizer Chiefs legend also shared a similar scenario that happened during his days as an active footballer
  • Amakhosi failed to get a positive result in the first and second-leg ties against Orlando Pirates this season

Doctor Khumalo has aired his thoughts on Cavin Johnson and Brandon Petersen's clash after Kaizer Chiefs' loss against Orlando Pirates in the Soweto Derby over the weekend.

Amakhosi lost to their city rivals 3-2 despite taking the lead twice in the game at the Orlando Stadium on Saturday (March 9).

After the game, a viral video on social media captured a moment between Johnson and Petersen, which looked like an angry exchange, with the interim manager claiming it was a normal scenario in football.

In an interview with Soccer Zone, as per iDiskiTimes, Khumalo admitted that he had seen such a thing happen.

"I needed to be honest and precise. I've seen such happening," he said.

The Kaizer Chiefs legend gave an example of such happening during his playing days but claimed he did it differently.

"Myself, in the dressing room with Jeff Butler. In the dressing room, by the way, inside the dressing room," he added.
"I didn't want to do it in front of the supporters because the interpretation indicates a bad image.
"Where it happened, it's different. And also, the way it happened. It's unlike the normal Kaizer Chiefs. Because if the coach feels that players can question, but can we do that in isolation, for us to interact, but that was not interacting."

Khumalo blames Johnson for Chiefs' loss

Sports Brief earlier reported on Khumalo blaming Cavin Johnson for Chiefs' loss against Orlando Pirates in the Soweto Derby over the weekend.

The Buccaneers did a league double over the Glamour Boys for the first time in 15 years this season.

The Kaizer Chiefs legend criticised the club's interim coach and his technical team for being unable to manage the game properly.
