DStv Premiership side TS Galaxy, on Tuesday, March 5, had a harrowing experience after their team bus was involved in a collision on the N4/Schoemanskloof Road.

The incident occurred while the team was on route to Mbombela.

Tragically, the collision resulted in the fatality of the driver of the VW Polo involved.

Despite the shock and tragedy, all Galaxy players and staff aboard the bus emerged unharmed, as reported by the Citizen.

The unfortunate event has overshadowed their upcoming match against Premier Soccer League (PSL) leaders Mamelodi Sundowns scheduled for Wednesday, March 6, at the Mbombela Stadium.

The Rockets had hoped to maintain their momentum after a commendable three-game unbeaten streak, but a defeat at the hands of Cape Town Spurs dampened their aspirations. Despite taking seventeen shots, Sead Ramovic's side failed to capitalize on their chances, conceding twice without a response for only the second time this season.

Currently 7th on the log with 24 points, Galaxy's ambition to secure a spot in the top half of the table hinges largely on their home performances. With six wins, two draws, and one loss on their home turf, the Rockets are banking on their formidable record at home to propel them forward.

Meanwhile, Sundowns ended their three-game winless streak with a resounding victory over AmaZulu, courtesy of a Lucas Rebeiro hat trick. Renowned for their captivating style of play, the Brazilians boast the league's best defence despite having played fewer games, as reported by Telecom Asia Sport.

Ramovic criticizes pundits for ignoring success

Sports Brief reported that TS Galaxy boss Ramovic criticized football experts for failing to recognize his team's achievements this season.

Despite their impressive performances, Ramovic feels his players are not receiving the credit they deserve from the media.

He highlighted his team's challenge after losing seven key players to other clubs but still reached the final of the Carling Knockout Cup.
