Galaxy believed they had a chance to claw back in the second half after the referee initially awarded them a penalty following an alleged foul on Samir Nurkovic, only for him to retract his decision shortly after.

He also raised concerns about the league's lack of the VAR (Video Assistant Referee), suggesting that the decision should have stood even with the intervention of the technology.
"Secret VAR? Even if there is a VAR, it’s a penalty because he touched him. But again, we don’t have the VAR. So what is now the point? What’s the rule of this referees, I would just like to know the rules," lamented the German, as quoted by iDiski Times.
Ramovic's comments come amidst ongoing tensions between him and Mamelodi Sundowns head coach, Rulani Mokwena, following recent allegations made by both parties.
