The Dutchman's future with United once again came under sharp focus on Sunday evening after the Old Trafford club suffered a 3-1 humiliating defeat against rivals Manchester City.

Phil Foden was the man of the moment during the Premier League cracker, with his brace denting United's hopes of sealing a top-four finish.

Tuchel relishing chance to manage Man United

GiveMeSports reports that Tuchel would be open to taking charge at the Theatre of Dreams in the event United get rid of ten Hag.

While ten Hag is expected to keep his job until the end of the season, his performance this term will be a big talking point as his suitability gets assessed.

Tuchel is set to get rendered jobless at the end of the campaign after Bayern Munich resolved he won't be in charge once the ongoing season is concluded.

The German has endured his fair share of challenges managing the Bundesliga giants, who are facing the prospect of losing the top-flight title to Xabi Alonso's Bayer Leverkusen.
