Marcus Rashford may have his shortcomings, but there is no denying his abilities as a football player.
The 26-year-old showed glimpse of his class on Sunday, March 3, with a classic strike to give his side the lead in the Manchester derby.
It was a strike that summed up the forward’s comments earlier in the week, when he hit back at his consistent critics.
"If you back me, good. If you doubt me, even better,” the England international wrote on The Players Tribune.

FootballHe added: "Listen, I’m not a perfect person. When I make a mistake, I’ll be the first one to put my hand up and say that I need to do better," he said. "But if you ever question my commitment to Man United, that’s when I have to speak up.”
After his wonder goal against City, Rashford is now in a league of his own in terms of a very unique stat.
No other Manchester United player in history has scored more goals against the so-called ‘Big Six’ sides than Rashford, who has a collective 30 goals against Manchester City, Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham.
This all started in 2016, when he introduced himself to the Premier League with a brace against the Gunners in his debut under Louis Van Gaal.
Arsenal and Tottenham are Rashford’s favourite ‘Big Six’ teams to score against as the forward has scored six goals against each of these sides.

FootballAgainst Liverpool and Manchester City, Rashford has scored five times, while he has only managed four goals against Chelsea in his career. To be fair to him, this is better than Lionel Messi, who only managed to score thrice against the Blues in numerous meetings.
With these numbers in mind, Rashford is ahead of some big Manchester United names (past and present) in terms of his goal haul against the big guns in the English top flight, per Transfermarkt.
