Harambee Stars midfielder Victor Wanyama poised to feature in Mourinho's squad for the first time vs Bayern Munich

Harambee Stars midfielder Victor Wanyama is looking set to feature for his club side Tottenham for the first time in weeks after he was named in the squad to face Bayern Munich.

Wanyama was part of the side which travelled to Germany on Wednesday, December 11 for an interesting Group B encounter.

Both sides have already qualified for the knockout stages and Mourinho could afford to tinker his squad a bit.

Notably , Mourinho completely rested in-form striker Harry Kane and started Lucas Moura as a false nine instead.

Since his appointment in November, Mourinho seemes to have renewed Spurs' spirits as he has won four of his first five games in charge in all competitions.

The resurgence has however come at the expense of some players including Wanyama , who seems to have permanently lost his place to the likes of Harry Winks and Moussa Sissoko.
