De Bruyne’s contract with the Citizens ends in 2025, and the ‘assist king’ has already been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia, Caught Offside reported.

The Saudi Pro League has become the new home for many stars in the twilight of their career, and they have been keen admirers of KDB for a long time.

Would Pep Guardiola let de Bruyne go?

The Belgian holds the record for the most assists for the club and is seen as a valuable member of the squad.

Since returning from injury, he has picked up where he left off and has given City a big boost as they look to defend their league title.

Guardiola has realised the importance of de Bruyne in the squad and admitted that he hopes he stays with them.

Would de Bruyne leave?

While he is happy in Manchester, de Bruyne recently spoke about his future. GOAL noted that the Belgium star could snub the Saudi league for a move to America instead.

He reportedly sees the USA's top flight - MLS - as a better career choice than the Middle East, especially for his family, once he eventually retires.

De Bruyne climbs all-time assists list

Sports Brief also previously reported on Manchester City midfielder, De Bruyne climbing the EPL assists list thanks to his continued brilliance.

The Belgian playmaker recently returned from injury and immediately made an impact as he notched another assist, taking his tally to 104.

That assist saw him climb up the league's all-time charts, and he is now in third place on the list, behind Ryan Giggs and Cesc Fabregas.
