English Premier League managers are reportedly pushing for a law change that would see them get treated the same as players.
Managers world over in football have always been sacked at any time the club owner or board deems fit.

What do the Premier League managers want?
The rule, if passed, will be something akin to what the players have. Players can only swap clubs or leave a particular club during the transfer windows.
This will mean that clubs cannot sack managers in the middle of the season and would have to wait for the 'transfer windows' to effect changes.
This season, only Nottingham Forest's Steve Cooper and Sheffield United's Paul Heckingbottom have lost their jobs. Nuno Espirito and Chris Wilder replaced them, respectively.
Roy Hodgson also stepped down from his Crystal Palace job due to health concerns, though the club was already lining up Oliver Glasner as his replacement.
No manager is under imminent threat of losing his job at the moment. Mauricio Pochettino understandably still has the backing of the Chelsea board to churn out consistent results from his billion-dollar squad.
