Two former DStv Premiership stars are poised to mirror the footsteps of Khama Billiat by venturing into Zimbabwe's Premier League with potential moves to Yadah FC.
Kudakwashe Mahachi, previously with Orlando Pirates and SuperSport United, is currently linked with a potential transfer to Dynamos FC or Yadah.
Meanwhile, former Matsatsantsa forward, Evans Rusike, has also expressed interest in joining Billiat's newly chosen outfit.
While Dynamos has been actively pursuing Mahachi, Billiat's recent transition appears to have influenced the winger's decision-making process. Negotiations with Mahachi are reportedly in advanced stages, although the player has indicated that he's yet to finalize his next move, as reported by Far Post.

Mahachi has been clubless since leaving Ghana Premier League side Medeama SC last month. The 30-year-old attacker, who reunited with action after over a year on the sidelines, faced challenges adapting to Medeama style of play during his brief stint, contributing limitedly with one goal.
Similarly, Rusike has remained relatively inactive since parting ways with Moroka Swallows in July 2023.
Billiat secures controversial Yadah move
Billiat's recent comeback to Zimbabwean football, following a prolonged hiatus after he departed from Kaizer Chiefs, has stirred significant attention. Joining a smaller contender in Zimbabwe's league, his move has ignited discussions nationwide.
Negotiations with Dynamos hit a snag over payment terms, as the forward reportedly insisted on receiving the sign-on fee upfront, while Dynamos proposed splitting it into two instalments. He then decided to explore his options further, as reported by The Herald.

Though exact numbers are typically kept under wraps, his recent move is believed to be one of the most lucrative in the league's history.
Backed by Castle Lager Beer, the league runs from March to November with an estimated annual budget of around US$1.2 million (R22.7 million).
