Cagliari’s Yerry Mina was tasked with marking the player during the game between the two sides and tried a different approach to keep Osimhen quiet.
The former Everton defender tried to get the Nigerian striker so worked up that he would get in trouble with the referee or sent off.

The Colombian defender was marking the AFCON finalist when he grabbed him from behind while Osimhen was trying to get free and make a run into the opponent’s half.
Unable to shake off the defender, Osimhen pushed him to the ground.
Cagliari’s players quickly complained to the referee, trying to get the striker in trouble, while Osimhen pleaded his case.
The referee chose not to punish either player, instead warning them about their behaviour, while the Nigerian tried explaining that he only reacted the way he did because Mina pinched his chest.
