Super Eagles defender Calvin Bassey scored his first Premier League goal for Fulham in their game against Manchester United at Old Trafford.
The former Leicester City defender was part of the Nigerian national team that finished second at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations and was a significant member of the squad.
Fulham were the better team for most of the first 45 minutes but could not bury their chances.
In a viral video on social media, Bassey gave Fulham the lead against the Red Devils to score his first EPL goal for the Cottagers since joining them from Ajax in the summer.
