Former Liverpool defender Daniel Agger has become a tattoo artist after his retirement from football in Danish topflight side Brondby in 2016.

The 36-year-old played for just two clubs in his entire professional career but spent most part of his active days representing the Reds. He spent eight seasons with them.

Agger decided to invest his money into his passion and necessity; tattoos and poop. He owns one of the biggest outfits in the world named Tattoodo.

One year before leaving Liverpool, the former defender had invested about £450,000 into a company that manages sewage systems in his home country in Denmark.

According to SunSport, the name, KloAgger, means Agger toilet and he spends time there but his brother Marco and their friend Rune Rasmussen oversee it day-to-day, while he is more interested in the tats.

He started and finished his career at Danish club Brondby, and it was as a 15-year-old youth player that he got his first work done. Agger said in an interview on Tattoodo's website:

"I was about 15 and on a school trip to Paris. It wasn't something I'd thought about before. Me and a friend went into the shop and said that's what we're going to have and we got it. I still have it today."

One of the more recent is the 'YNWA' stamped on his knuckles - the well-known Liverpool acronym for Anfield's anthem You'll Never Walk Alone. He added:

"Timing was quite good. [There were] a lot of rumours sending me to another club for a lot of money but I knew I was staying. Somehow I wanted to show that to the footballing world and this was a way I wanted to show it."

Agger did eventually leave Liverpool in 2014 and spent two years at Brondby before ending his career earlier than expected.

Legit.ng earlier reported that Liverpool returned to winning ways in the Premier League for the first time since January 31 following their 2-0 win over Sheffield United at Bramall Lane.

Though they won their Champions League rounds of 16 first-leg clash against RB Leipzig on February 16, they had lost all four of their EPL meetings in the month under review.

However, two second-half goals from Curtis Jones and Kean Bryan (own goal) powered the Reds to their only English topflight win this month.
